Day 1: DAY 1: MARRAKECH \ HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS \ AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH \ OUARZAZATE

The morning of your five-day journey from Marrakech to Fes begins with a pickup from your Marrakech hotel or riad. You will be treated to breathtaking vistas of the High Atlas Mountains as soon as you set out on your tour. We will make stops along the journey to take in the stunning surroundings and tour the famous Telouet Kasbah, also known as the Palace of Glaoui, which was formerly the stronghold of the El Glaoui dynasty.

When you get to Ait Ben Haddou at midday, you can eat lunch before exploring the fascinating Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This historic location has provided the setting for many classic movies and television shows, such as Gladiator, The Mummy, and some episodes of Game of Thrones.

We will continue traveling and arrive at Ouarzazate, which is sometimes called the Hollywood of Africa and the entry point to the desert. The world's largest film studio, the renowned Atlas Studios, is located here. You can visit the Taourirt Kasbah, another impressive fortified settlement that was originally owned by the El Glaoui family, or you can tour the studio sets. Once you've finished admiring the grandeur of the Kasbah, we'll take you to your hotel so you can unwind for the evening, have dinner, and spend a peaceful night.

Day 2: OUARZAZATE \ SKOURA \ KELAAT M'GOUNA \ BOU THARAR \ DADES VALLEY

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel to start the day before we go for Skoura, a breathtaking oasis with more than 4000 hectares of palm palms. In the past, this region was an essential resting place for camel caravans making their way to Sub-Saharan Africa from the Atlantic and Mediterranean seas. You can explore the impressive Amridil Kasbah in Skoura, which provides insights into life 300 years ago within the Kasbah walls.

Following our exploration of the Kasbah, we proceed to Kelaat M'Gouna, the location of the renowned Rose Valley. When spring arrives, you can take a stroll down the valley and take in the breathtaking display of flowering roses.

We leave Kelaat M'Gouna behind and travel on toward Bou Tharar, passing through quaint Berber settlements. We'll then travel an exciting off-road journey to get to Dades Valley from there. We will stop along the journey to see a Berber family who live nomadic in a mountain cave. Here, you can have a nice cup of tea and learn about their distinctive way of life.

We will check you into your accommodation when we get to Dades Valley so you can relax. You can take a guided hike in the Monkey Fingers Canyon, which offers amazing views, slot canyons, and fascinating rock formations, or you can take a leisurely stroll in Dades Valley.

Enjoy a delectable dinner as night falls and a peaceful night's sleep at your hotel while taking in Dades Valley's serene atmosphere.

Day 3 :DADES VALLEY \ TODRA GORGE \ MERZOUGA DESERT

We will set out on an adventurous adventure to the Merzouga desert after savoring a delectable breakfast at your accommodation.

We will pause along the route to have a leisurely stroll in the Todra Canyon and to take in the breath-taking, all-encompassing vistas of the Tinghir oasis.

We are going to get to the Merzouga desert in the afternoon. Here, you will have a real camel ride through the dunes and stand atop a tall dune to witness a breathtaking sunset. You will be greeted with a cup of tea upon arrival at your opulent camp and then taken to your own luxurious tent. You may relax and have a delicious dinner at the camp before gathering around the campfire to listen to traditional Berber melodies and drum beats under a starry sky.

Day 4: MERZOUGA DESERT EXPLORATION

For those who rise early today, take in the breathtaking dawn. Prepare yourself for an adventurous day of exploring the Merzouga desert after a delicious breakfast.

Begin your journey by traveling to Khamlia, a small community well-known for its distinctive Gnawa music—a traditional genre performed by residents with ties to South African nations. Next, we will travel off-road to M'Fis, an abandoned settlement well-known for its mineral mines that yield Galena, a material used in makeup.

Visit a family that resides close to the Erg Chebbi Dunes to get a personal look at their nomadic way of life. You will experience authentic Berber hospitality here and learn about their way of life away from the modern world.

We will travel to a lovely riad with stunning views of Erg Chebbi's golden sand dunes after lunch. Before the sun sets, spend some time swimming or relaxing. Take a leisurely stroll to the dunes later on for another breathtaking sunset.

Day 5: MERZOUGA DESERT \ ZIZ VALLEY \ IFRANE \ FES

Another opportunity to get up early and watch the magnificent sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes from the luxury of your riad is here today.

After a substantial breakfast, we will set out on our adventure to Fes. We will stop at numerous amazing locations along the journey, such as the charming Ziz Valley, a fascinating cedar forest close to Azrou where you might see Barbary monkeys, and the lovely town of Ifrane, which is sometimes referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco.

You'll reach Fes by the end of the afternoon. Your amazing 5-day off-the-beaten-path journey from Marrakech to Fes will come to an end when your guide makes sure you are dropped off at the closest accessible spot to your hotel or riad.
