Morocco 7 days trip from Casablanca to Marrakech

Day 1: CASABLANCA / RABAT

Greetings from Morocco! Your seven-day trip starts with a cordial meet and greet at Casablanca's Mohammed V International Airport, where our knowledgeable local tour guide will be waiting to greet you.

From there, we'll travel in style to Chefchaouen, a charming hamlet tucked away in northern Morocco's Rif Mountains.

From there, we'll set off on an intriguing journey to Morocco's most remarkable architectural marvel—the Hassan II Mosque. You will get the opportunity to take in the breathtaking views of the coastline, the beautiful tile work, and the carved marble during your stay. This mosque is really amazing to see, with the second-tallest minaret in the world!

We'll head to Rabat, the Moroccan capital, after the mosque. You will see the richly cultural and historically significant Oudayas Kasbah and Hassan Tower there.

We'll take you to your Rabat lodging at the end of the day so you can unwind and refuel for the thrilling experiences that lie ahead.

Please be aware that if you arrive at the airport late at night, we will drive you directly to your Casablanca hotel, where you may relax and get ready for the tour, which begins the following day.

Day 2: RABAT \Chefchaouen

We will set out for Chefchaouen, a stunning village in the northern Moroccan Rif Mountains, after a delectable breakfast at your hotel or riad. It takes about four hours to drive from Rabat to Chefchaouen, during which you'll see breathtaking scenery of undulating hills and quaint towns.

After checking into your hotel or riad upon arriving in Chefchaouen, you'll have free time to explore the area and its well-known blue-painted alleyways. Chefchaouen is renowned for its eye-catching blue-washed structures, which lend the city an unusual and charming look. You may visit the busy souks (markets), meander through the medina's winding streets and lanes, or unwind at one of the many eateries serving delectable Moroccan fare.

Day 4: CHEFCHAOUEN \ VOLUBILIS \ MEKNES \ FES

The start of your day will be a beautiful trip through the charming Rif villages after breakfast at your riad. Before you reach Volubilis, a former Roman city, you will be treated to the breathtaking scenery of the Moroccan countryside.

You can discover more about the intriguing history of this historic city and get the opportunity to tour its remains. Volubilis is renowned for its magnificent public structures from the third century and its exquisitely maintained mosaics. You can get a sense of the Romans' way of life by strolling among the remains.

We will travel to Meknes, a 17th-century city that was formerly the capital of Morocco, after exploring the ruins of Volubilis.

After lunch here, we'll head towards the city's medina, a walled old town that is home to the famous Bab el Mansour gate.

The Bab el Mansour gate is one of the most impressive gates in Morocco, with detailed designs and beautiful carvings. You'll also have the chance to visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a religious site dedicated to the famous Sultan Moulay Ismail.

After a day of exploring Volubilis and Meknes, we'll head to Fes, where you'll spend the night in a beautiful Riad.

Day 4: FULL DAY TOUR OF FES

Go on an exciting full-day tour of the dynamic city of Fes, renowned for its rich history and culture, with a local guide today. Fes, one of Morocco's imperial cities and the nation's capital of culture and religion, is home to a multitude of historical and cultural gems just waiting to be unearthed.

Visit the Royal Palace gate to begin your tour before exploring the medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its labyrinthine passageways and streets. The Al-Attarine Madrasa, the Chouara Tanneries, the Nejjarine Fountain, and Al-Qarawiyyin University are all located here. Admire these historical sites' exquisite detailing and breathtaking architecture.

Proceed to the Jewish neighborhood, referred to as "the Mellah," where you may discover more about the interesting past of Fes' Jewish community. Lastly, before heading back to your riad, visit an old fortification to get a broad perspective of the Medina and the city of Fes. We're going to the desert after breakfast at your riad in Fes. You will travel southward into the desert and eventually arrive at Merzouga. You'll pause on route at the city of Ifrane to have a little rest and to admire the surroundings.

After that, you will go on to see some Barbary apes in a cedar grove in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Following that, you'll stop for lunch at a roadside café before traveling on to the Ziz Valley, which is renowned for its palm tree-filled oasis.

You will arrive to the desert in the afternoon and set off on your real camel journey across Erg Chebbi's sand dunes. You will pause on a tall dune as you hike into the desert to witness a gorgeous sunset. You will next proceed to your opulent desert camp.

You'll be brought to your personal tent so you may unwind and change as soon as you arrive. Following a delectable dinner, your camp staff will play drums and sing Berber songs as you all gather around a bonfire beneath the stars. Additionally, you'll get the chance to pick up the drums.

Day 6: MERZOUGA DESERT \ RISSANI \ TODRA GORGE \ DADES GORGE

Awaken early to see a breathtaking sunrise over Erg Chebbi's dunes. Rise and shine. Following a delectable breakfast, you can choose to ride out of the camp on a 4x4 vehicle or on camel once more in the direction of Merzouga town. Your driver will be waiting there to take you to Dades Gorge for the second phase of your tour.

You'll get the chance to see a lot of interesting locations along the way, such as the historic Rissani market (if you manage to arrive on a market day, which is on Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday). Additionally, you will get the opportunity to stroll through the magnificent Todra Gorge and take in the amazing vistas of the Dades and Todra rivers.

Get ready to be in awe of the amazing rock formations that resemble monkey fingers as you travel to Dades Gorge. Before you reach your hotel for the evening, you'll have the opportunity to drive through the Dades Valley and enjoy a broad perspective of the Gorges. We'll start our final day of your seven-day schedule in Morocco by traveling to Ouarzazate, commonly referred to as the "Hollywood of Africa" and the "Gateway to the Desert." You have the option to visit Atlas Studios, Morocco's biggest film studio, while you're there. You'll get to see well-known film locations and get knowledge about the production process.

We will go to Ait Ben Haddou after seeing the studios, where you will have the opportunity to explore the well-known Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been featured in a number of films, such as "The Gladiator" and "Lawrence of Arabia." You'll get to explore this historic site and take in its elaborate decorations and well detailed construction.

We'll continue traveling across the High Atlas Mountains after having lunch at a restaurant, admiring the breathtaking scenery as we go. Our late-afternoon arrival in Marrakech will mark the conclusion of your seven-day journey in Morocco.
